Lightweight flimsy

By Stillbad

from Bellingham, WA

Verified Reviewer

Pros

    Cons

    • Flimsy Net
    • Tiny Fiberglass Poles

    Best Uses

    • One time disposable use

The picture looks like 1" or 2" diameter poles. Truth is, the poles are less than a half inch in diameter. They pad the poles with foam to make them look larger than they are. The net was very light, I'll be luck to get a year out of this thing.

Suggestion for cage being too short

    By Dude

    from Medford, OR

    Pros

    • Cheap compact effective

    Cons

      Best Uses

I am going to buy one and my plan is to deal with the shortness of the cage is to leave a one square foot opening in the end and move the machine back to the standard distance and let the machine pitch through the hole. Some hit balls may get through but I will hang a net behind the machine to stop them. The machine might get hit but that can happen anyway. Way better than spending hundreds more for a bigger cage and taking up more room.

        Too Short

        By Tom the Hitter

        from Hartford, CT

        Pros

        • Easy Set Up

        Cons

        • Recommend longer then 24
        • Too short for machine

        Best Uses

Very easy set up, however if using with the pitching machine i recommend at least 30' plus or you cannot react quick enough to ball coming out of machine.
